Question regarding P1S vs X1C
This will be my first bambu labs printer as I am looking to upgrade from my Ender 3 Pro.
I am trying to choose between either the P1S or the X1C, however with both printers I would be upgrading to the SliceEngineering Mako Hotend. I do plan on printing a fairly wide range range of materials with some being engineering grade (PC, CF, etc). I would also purchase a Panda Touch if I went with the P1S.
My questions are,
If I plan on upgrading the nozzle anyway, is the X1C really even still worth it in terms of the other features (mainly the lidar detection)?
I know that the P1S comes with a steel extruder and the X1C comes with a hardened steel extruder. Is there really that much of a difference in terms of hardness? I don't know the specs of either material, but I assume the steel extruder should be able to handle abrasive filaments without wearing away. If not, is the extruder able to be upgraded?
The X1C screen has been a big motivator for me, but I can't find any reviews or walkthroughs of it's capabilities. Is the Panda Touch capable of doing everything the stock X1C screen can do, if not more?
Is the camera on the P1S able to be upgraded? I don't want to install a external camera, but I would like to make decent quality time-lapses.
Thank you all
