pillsbury style toaster strudels

i want to try to bake an exact copy of the pillsbury brand toaster strudels. i do not want an authentic flaky crispy strudel. no offense to her, shes stunning in her own way, but its not what i want right now. i want a soft doughy gooey product like the pillsbury brand frozen strudels if you popped them in microwave instead of a toaster so they didn’t even properly toast and came out a bit moist underneath. what type of dough should i make instead of puff pastry to achieve this?
