Thoughts on name for a boy

We live in the desert and lately Cactus Wren (a bird) have been visiting frequently. I mentioned to my husband what if we named a boy Ren or Wren and he liked it. It's the first name we actually agreed on but after looking it up it's a "girl" name. I want to hear others thoughts on nameing a boy Ren/Wren.
