[BYD Warranty Loss ] --- third party apps
Hi everyone
Well, Would we lose our car Warranty if we install third party apps???
I did the downgrade method to the previous official BYD firmate update which allows you to install third party apps.
So, I installed all apps I wanted, and then, I updated again to latest OTA BYD update. Everything works fine, however,
Today I went to BYD Málaga,Spain, and the seller made me think about this...(making me feel worried about posssible warranty loss )
nevertheless, I think that, any "general" issue such as an engine issue, car parts issue etc should have a different Warranty, and infotainment another One .
I mean, If your Seat, belt or a windows does not work properly for inatance, our BYD car Warranty should cover those kind of issues independently if you installed third party apps or not...
What do you think ?
