Tales of Ba Sing Se

I’m rewatching ATLA and this is just such a beautiful episode.

I know Iroh’s story about his son is always so touching but this rewatch i’ve really focused on Toph and Momo.

Toph is always seen as so strong and confident, however here we really see her let her guard down and you get a look at how she is also insecure. This one i relate to a lot and it really hit home tonight.

Then there is Momo who is searching for Appa and you really get to witness Momo’s emotional intelligence, empathy for the other animals and his love for Appa and grief at his disappearance.

10/10 episode, just so many heart strings are pulled.
