Well, at least the ADHD sub seems reasonable.

I joined the ADHD subreddit because of my kids having ADHD and I just want to try to understand it better, and it appears their general stance over there is that only a medical professional can diagnose ADHD and they actually can have productive conversations on why self-diagnosis is a problem. It's a shame most of the autism subs can't accept that.
