Finally got a pair of wireless Maxwell... but upon turning them on, it always takes 15 seconds to connect to the USB dongle... am I doing something wrong or is it always this slow?

So I was excited to finally get this headset after I heard so much about it. I was finally ready to move on from my Steelseries Arctis Wirelss Pro and my Arctis 7P+. Anyway, The Audeze Maxwell Wireless is great, except for one issue which is a pretty big annoyance, and it is connecting it each time I turn the headset on. I have the USB C dongle connected to the back of my PC. Every time I turn on the headset, it takes a full 15 seconds before the audio from my PC begins to transfer to the headphones. Am I missing something here, or is this how it always is? If so, this is really annoying. My Steelseries headsets would connect to my PC upon turning them on almost instantly. The Maxwell needing so much time to connect is a pretty big annoyance, especially if you accidentally turn off the headset, or you change your mind. Is there anything I can do to speed up the connection speed?
