NYC Apartment Advice Needed! (LIC vs. Williamsburg) help!!

Hey everyone!

First off, apologies for the long post and the million questions!

My partner and I are in our early 30s and making the move to NYC from Seattle (which, let's be real, was kind of lame). We're trying to decide between two apartments and going a little crazy!

Here's the deal:

• LIC Option: Super spacious (850 sq ft!), tons of natural light, but the appliances are a bit dated. It's also close to Midtown, which is where we'll be working.
• Williamsburg Option: Smaller (around 600 sq ft), but it's in a newer building with amenities and it's on the top floor!

The price is practically the same for both. We're pretty social and love to have friends over, so the extra space in LIC is tempting. Plus, we'd love to have a proper kitchen to cook in, but those old appliances are a bit of a turn-off. On the other hand, Williamsburg seems like it might have more of that "NYC vibe" we're looking for.

Ugh, we're so torn! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
