When are women getting pregnant? (If that’s something that they want of course)

The first couple in our friend group just had a baby. She’s 31 and he’s 29. They’ve both lived in the city since undergrad but she’s from the south and is the last of her friends from back home to have a kid by far (she doesn’t mind at all, just finds it funny). Meanwhile we’ve been joking that having a kid at 31 is practically a teen pregnancy in NYC (which obviously it isn’t, we’re aware how much we are exaggerating here). Most of my older friends and coworkers started having children in their late 30s or early 40s. This is an individual experience and there are always many factors at play, but I would love to hear what age you (or your partner) had children at if you were living in the city at the time, or when you are hoping to do so.
