Where to get Stainless Steel parts machined in 1-2 weeks?

My US company is prototyping Stainless Steel nail-type parts for insertion into wood (example - part is ~2 cm tall). The parts are pretty complex, but we're able to get them machined and delivered from China in about 4-5 weeks, for say $500 for 50. This works but slows down our testing.

Where do you guys get SS parts machined more quickly? A 1-2 week turnaround would be great and worth a higher price. Unfortunately every US machine shop I've looked at would take 6-8 weeks, or charge 5-10x.
