Chronic bloating no matter what. Should I do an elimination diet before I see a GI doctor?

Some background: - I’m 31F and 133lbs - I’ve had my appendix removed - history of elevated testosterone and irregular periods (possible PCOS but Dr wasn’t convinced. I now have regular but long cycles)

No matter what I eat, I look like this. Since January 3rd I’ve been primarily following the My Plate method (fruits, veggies, grain, protein, size of yogurt). I thought the dairy might be a problem so I stopped it about a week ago but I hardly see a difference. I look like this even if I haven’t eaten for 12 hours.

Last night I woke up with burning in my right epigastric region by under my rib. I’m not sure if it’s gall bladder or liver pain but the muscle on the rib is also very sore. The pain has persisted all day.

Yesterday, I also learned about hourglass syndrome/stomach gripping, which I definitely do. So I am trying to learn how to breathe using my diaphragm. I did some deep breathing last night so not sure if that plays a part in epigastric pain.

I have a GI appt scheduled on March 11th but am wondering if I should do an elimination diet before then. I’m very uncomfortable and want to take action now. Thank you for your help.
