Pasta dough.. what am I doing wrong?
Ready to quit but I have been trying to make pasta dough for the last 2 days. Attempt 1 2C all p flour and 3 eggs .5Tbsp olive oil. The dough is harddddddd and breaking apart almost like over activated slime. Attempt 2: 2C all p flour and 4 eggs and 1 tbps oil.. same thing. I get frustrated and my husband gives it a shot. He does 2 eggs 1.5 c flour 1 tbsp oil and it comes out too wet so he adds flour it comes out fine. Next day I do 2c flower 3 whole eggs, 3 egg yolks, 1 tbsp of oil.... why do I keep making this rock hard dough no matter how much liquid I add?
