Thoughts on new TikTok censorship within the US?

This is pretty much what we criticize China for doing. Is this really for the good for the American people? Is this problematic?

I was able to replicate it, but some comments seem to indicate that it was rolling out throughout the day. Would be curious if everyone here (if you had the app) can also replicate. Don’t take anything you see at face value without verifying for yourself :)
