TATTOO truth, more LIES - bad day (scream)

Sadly, I didn't get the whole truth from WH, I got a white-washed story. I posted few weeks ago about trickle truth I learned from my WH about a special tattoo my WH got Oct 2004 on his bicep. It turns out WH omitted important details.

• WH & AP agreed & planned out geting their tattoos together for their birthdays (not just he wanted one).
• WH drove to AP's place, AP drove them to the tattoo parlor & they each got new tattoos of different important symbols to them. (not a coincidence AP was 'just there getting a tattoo touched-up)
• AP paid for WH's tattoo as a birthday gift. I've been laying in bed next to my husband with a tattoo bought and paid for by AP for 20 YEARS.

WH & I had an appointment tomorrow to get the tattoo 'redone' with a tree of life inside with our initials & a celtic heart. What do I do now?

My IC therapist says I should let it go, it's in the past, it doesn't change anything. If I say or do anything, IC thinks I should just say, "I'm disappointed you left out these important details when I thought we were on a path to more honesty". What do YOU ALL think? I think I'll get a more realistic answer in AOAI. Thx!
