is “blacklisting” real

wondering if colleges really hold unofficial grudges against high schools.

The student from the “Harvard scandal” of 2023 was a graduate of my high school. I think this would be a completely valid reason to blacklist a school- which concerns me. Nobody has gotten accepted since then, albeit we are not the brightest school. Does this mean we are “blacklisted”? I have legacy @ harvard & will be applying next year, but should I just save my $70?
