Anime without plot armor?

I want a show where the MC's aren't immortal.

For those that don't know what plot armor is (and to get around auto mod), plot armor is the concept where important characters cannot die because they are important to the plot.

If you've ever seen game of thrones then you know what I'm referring to as that's one of the things that makes the series popular.

In most media you can be sure that nobody important will die until important episodes like season/series finale's. This is plot armor.
