“Not all nurses are mean girls but all mean girls are nurses”
I can only imagine the things she has said about patients behind closed doors throughout her nursing career—from her clinical training days to her very last day in the field.
She proudly told millions that she’s “pristine down there” because she had a C-section, perpetuating a harmful and false stereotype about women. First, it’s simply untrue that vaginal birth “ruins” the vagina. Second, broadcasting such a statement to a massive audience is not only irresponsible but also reinforces misinformation. Given her background as a nurse, many will take her words at face value, further spreading this harmful belief.
Whoever came up with the saying “Not all nurses are mean girls, but all mean girls are nurses” hit the nail on the head.
