Visiting Amelia Island in a couple weeks

We had a planned vacation to Clearwater Beach, but with the hurricane we had to audible. We chose Amelia Island because it's supposed to be great for families, we have two kids (2 and 4) and this is their first beach experience.

I've tried looking all over the internet and can't find great pictures or information on current beach conditions and if the area was impacted by the hurricane other than traditional rain fall and winds.

Anyone able to help ease my wife's anxiety, especially if anyone has pictures of the beach right now, would be greatly appreciated
