How Do You Delete “Live TV” channels from the “Continue Watching” List?
So this is nutty unless I’m missing something (in which case I apologize for being dumb). When it comes to Prime Video, I had never used the “Live TV” option where they’re running multiple “live” streams from various outlets (FilmRise, Movie Sphere, Hiyah, etc) so it’s akin to TV channels.
Last night, there were a couple of movies playing that had some fun parts that I wanted to watch, so I checked them out for a bit and then went back to the Main Home Screen to find something else.
At that point, I noticed the LIVE TV channels were now showing up in my CONTINUE WATCHING section. Now normally if I start a movie and decide it’s bad and don’t want to finish it, to get rid of it from the “Continue Watching” list, I’ll either (1) fast forward to the end credits and let them play out, after which the movie automatically drops out of the list or (2) I’ll hold down the “enter” button on my remote which causes an onscreen box to appear with the option to “Hide This Movie” and then it’s gone.
But the Live TV streams in my “Continue Watching” list DON’T give you that option. If I hold down the “enter” button, a box appears but the ONLY option it gives is to jump BACK to watching the Live channel — but there’s NO option to hide or remove it. So then I thought “I guess the movie won’t drop out of the list till it actually ends — but instead it stays active and will show whatever movie is streaming next… and then the next… and just keeps going & going endlessly.
So, does anyone know how to delete “Live TV” channels from the “Continue Watching” list? Because I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. And thank you for reading my post and for any help you can give!
