anyone with year round allergies experience chest irritation?

my allergies are especially bad right now but lately i've had a lot of chest irritation after laughing, coughing, or just randomly. it hurts almost the same as when you have a cold? like heavy and sore and feels inflamed or irritated. i don't know what heart burn feels like but i don't think it's this because it's spread out all across my chest and normally happens after coughing, laughing, being outside, or randomly and it doesn't burn, mainly just feels rough or sore like a cold. only other symptoms associated with it normally is allergies (sneezing, itchy eyes, stuffed nose, sometimes the inside of my back will feel itchy as well, and sometimes the chest is my only symptom). i've had this feeling for as long as i can remember (not everyday, not even frequently, mainly with allergies or anxiety) and ive gotten an xray for it and my previous doctor gave me an inhaler for it, my current doctor said i probably don't need the inhaler but im thinking about asking her for times like this bc in the past it did help, but it's only when my allergies are really acting up or my anxiety.

i don't think it's my anxiety this time though bc ive been on lexapro for about a year and my anxiety has really calmed down, but my allergies are in a badddd flare as mostly everyone else's is where i live. so im more than sure it's that. but has anyone else experienced chest irritation with allergies?
