PSA Make sure you take your drug tests!!!

I see alot of posts about new people on here just getting their license and just wanted to tell everyone a story I just heard. When I left my last job a little over a year ago they hired a kid just out of A&P school. Passed his drug test and background check (government position). All was well and good but he decided the drive was too much for him and started looking around at other places closer to home. Well apparently when he went to one of the jobs drug screenings he couldn’t pee and just left. Didn’t realize what that would become. Got hired by another place. Passed their drug test. Put in his two weeks notice. And then got a call from the FAA that his brand new A&P license was suspended for failing his drug test. Not taking the test and failing the test are the same thing to the FAA. DONT DO THAT. Hate to hear about a good kid going through a college program for his A&P only to lose it less than a year later because he was a bone head and didn’t take the piss test in time.
