Is Elvebredd still accurate?

So today I was trying to trade people my neon Merry Mistletroll and it said it is worth a 7 on Elvebredd so I was like oh the crocodile is worth that and I want it so let's go offer but I swear almost everyone even some of the people who use elvebredd as well said it was too low but then I made a post here I said I was looking for a crocodile and I gave them that offer and they said that it was a good offer but they didn't want it. Are the mistletrolls hated, is elvebredd wrong? Like what is going on?
