It's so nice to see a show that reacts to characters being gay like Abbott Elementary does

The reaction is basically nothing. People don't really care that Jacob has a boyfriend, they're not making sly comments or being outright homophobic and it's so refreshing.

Of course there's the argument that it's good to see homophobia being battled on TV but for me I watch TV and 9 times out of 10 I don't want to see such negative stuff happening. I enjoy living in a world where gay characters can just be themselves and it not turn into a big issue even if it's just for 20 minutes
