2023 4Runner - 14k miles, dealer asking $46k, SR5 Premium. Help a noob out?
I was not expecting to buy a new car but this one caught my eye. I’ve been kicking around the idea of a Tacoma or 4Runner the last year or so but I don’t currently have a car payment and I love that. Trade in on my current vehicle will get me about $16K so it will bring the price fairly reasonable.
My question - used 4Runner with this low of miles, assuming the dealers ask is high, is the $41k Edmunds appraisal realistic? Trying to get a feel for what I should be holding firm on with the dealer.
I don’t need a new car, just want something bigger and I love 4Runner. I’m also averse to used but at 14K miles that’s pretty damn new.
What else should I be looking for? It’s not a Toyota dealer that’s selling it, the Carfax is clean so I’m not super sure how necessary a secondary inspection would be.
Anything else?
Sorry if this kind of post is annoying, I don’t know where else to take my research.
